    Abstract: In this work the vascular flora collections made between 1996 and 1998 in the Ons Island, currently included in the Galician Atlantic Islands National Park, are presented, corresponding to 258 taxa fitted in 57 families. 37 taxa are new to the flora of Ons.

    Abstract: 929 records of the superfamilies Papilionoidea and Hesperoidea are contributed, mainly in the provinces of A Coruña, Lugo, Ourense, and Pontevedra (Galicia), but also in León and Zaragoza. All information in the collection labels are included here. All specimens recorded in this paper are deposited in the Arthropoda collection of the Centro de Investigación e Información Ambiental of Lourizán, Consellería de Medio Ambiente e Desenvolvemento Sostible of Xunta de Galicia, with the acronym LOU-Arthr.

    Abstract: New records of Aglia tau (L.) are contributed for Galicia (NW Spain). We add to his distribution the Sierra de Ancares and the Sierra del Courel. We offer a list of the our specimens and some information on phenology and ecology.

    Abstract: This is the first of a series of articles devoted to the study of Diptera of Galicia (Spain) and neighboring territories. The specimens were captured by members of the Asociación BIGA in Galicia and the determinations were made by the European dipterologists Kai Heller (Sciaridae) and Valery Korneyev (Tephritidae). 17 Sciaridae and 12 Tephritidae species were found. Six new Sciaridae species for Spain were found: Bradysia longicubitalis (Lengersdorf 1924), Bradysia trispinifera Mohrig & Krivosheina 1979, Corynoptera blanda (Winnertz 1867), Corynoptera inundata Fritz 1982, Cratyna (Cratyna) ambigua (Lengersdorf 1934) and Trichosia edwardsi (Legensdorf 1930). All specimens are deposited in the Centro de Investigación e Información Ambiental - CINAM of Lourizán (Pontevedra, Spain).
