Introduction

This is the Web of the Asociación BIGA (Biodiversity in Galicia), devoted to the study of the Natural heritage of Galicia (NW Spain), focused especially in arthropoda and vascular flora works.

The Asociación BIGA is registered in the Central Register of Non-Profit Associations of the Galician Regional Government. The registration number is 2007/010334-1 (SC), March 5, 2007.

The Asociación BIGA is also registered in the Registry of Entities of Environmental Character of Galicia, Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of the Galician Regional Government, with the number 2008/0040, February 19, 2008.

The Asociación BIGA is a biodiversity data provider for the Spanish National Node of GBIF (Global Biodiversity Information Facility).
